Gwalior: 25-Year-Old Injured in Firing Over Land Dispute
Gwalior, 30 May 2025 — A 25-year-old man was injured in a shooting incident in Gwalior’s Alkapuri area on Thursday. The victim was reportedly attacked while visiting a piece of land, sparking fears over rising violence related to land disputes.
According to eyewitnesses, the youth had gone to inspect the land when assailants suddenly opened fire, hitting him in the arm. He was quickly taken to a nearby hospital where he is receiving treatment.
Police have launched an investigation and are reviewing CCTV footage to identify the attackers. Authorities are also probing the background of the land dispute to understand the motive behind the attack.
This incident adds to growing concerns about safety and law and order in the region, especially related to land conflicts.
