Gwalior Shaken as Two Individuals Die by Suicide Within 8 Hours

Gwalior, 22 May 2025 – In a tragic turn of events, two separate incidents of suicide were reported in Gwalior within a span of just eight hours, sending shockwaves through the city.
The first incident occurred on Thursday morning when a 17-year-old boy was found hanging in his room. According to family members, the boy had locked himself inside for a long time. When he did not respond to repeated knocks, the family broke open the door and found him hanging. Police arrived at the scene and sent the body for post-mortem. No suicide note was recovered, and the reason behind the suicide remains unknown.
In the second case, reported later in the evening, a 30-year-old man allegedly died by suicide in a similar manner at his residence. Family members stated that he had been under mental stress for some time. The body was also sent for autopsy, and police have begun a probe into the circumstances surrounding the death.
Both incidents have raised concerns about mental health and emotional well-being in the community. While no foul play is suspected at this stage, police are continuing their investigations and speaking with relatives to gather more information.
