Gwalior: Drunk Man Climbs Water Tank, Police Struggle to Bring Him Down

Gwalior, 27 May 2025 — A man under the influence of alcohol created a tense situation in Gwalior after climbing atop a water tank in a residential area. His behaviour drew comparisons to Veeru, the famous character from the Bollywood film Sholay.
The man shouted loudly from the tank, alarming residents and causing a crowd to gather. Police were called to the scene and faced a difficult task in persuading him to come down safely.
After several hours of patient negotiation, the authorities successfully brought the man down without any harm.
This incident has once again raised concerns about alcohol misuse and the need for better mental health awareness and support. Officials have appealed to the public to seek help when facing personal difficulties to avoid such risky situations.
